Portal is a collection of furniture conceived as a threshold — gateways into deeper presence and elemental truth. Inspired by the concept of contemporary altars, the pieces blend art, mathematics, and spirituality. The series comprises the Portal Cabinet I and the Portal Highboard, both designed in an elongated star shape. Surrounded by mirrored surfaces, the objects appear almost dematerialized, merging seamlessly with their environment. In contrast, the tactile interior, crafted from lacquered Valchromat in four different colors, offers a rich, sensory counterpoint to the luminous exterior. Both pieces are produced as part of a limited, numbered edition.

The Cabinet draws inspiration from the concept of the contemporary altar — a place of reflection and transformation.

The Highboard, with its upright, grounded form, evokes the quiet power of a monolith. Sculptural and symbolic, it stands as a vertical marker between the visible and the invisible.
